Dear SalsaFrenzy Members,

I wanted to let you know about the "SalsaFrenzy Salsa Minutes". They are short video episodes made for the new video iPod but viewable on any computer. The Salsa Minutes are available for free via Apple's iTunes Music Store.

The Salsa Minutes are one to two minute segments of salsa footwork, partner combinations, and snap interviews with salsa personalities. They are informal, informative, and often funny.

We have 14 episodes so far with the last four shot at this past weekend's San Francisco Salsa Congress:

    Episode #1: Danny & Julie - partnering

    Episode 2: Michelle - footwork

    Episode 3: Stewart & Julie - partnering

    Episode 4: Rob & Sonia - partnering

Episode 5: April Genovese de la Rosa - footwork/styling

Episode 6: Steward & April Genovese de la Rosa - partnering

Episode 7: Duplessey-Monic Walker and Saoco Dancers - performance

Episode 8: Rob Suave & April Genovese de la Rosa - partnering

Episode 9: Andres Giraldo (Salsa Y Control) - footwork

Episode 10: Josh Gomez & Jen - partnering

    Episode 11: Nik & Parya - partnering

Episode 12: Victor & Burju (Hacha Y Machete)

Episode 13: Rodney (SalsaGang) and Emily - partnering

Episode 14: Mike Bellow (Mambo Fellow) and Stephanie

We'll be shooting more episodes at this weekend's NY/NJ Salsa Festival in Brooklyn. Speaking of which, don't forget the $25 discount SalsaFrenzy members get on the full congress pass. You don't want to miss this event.

If you'll be at the NY/NJ Salsa Festival and would like to be featured in a Salsa Minutes episode, just let me know. It takes less than 10 minutes to shoot a segment.

To view the Salsa Minutes you need the latest iTunes 6 and QuickTime 7.0.3 (both are free downloads).

If you have the latest iTunes, just click here to go to the Salsa Minutes.

If you don't have iTunes, go here to download iTunes 6. It should also get you QuickTime, but if you need to get it separately, go here to download QuickTime 7.0.3.

Once you have iTunes, either click here to go to the Salsa Minutes or search for "salsafrenzy" in the iTunes Music Store.

You'll notice that you can either "get" individual episodes or "subscribe" to the series. We recommend that you "subscribe" to the podcast and that way you'll automatically get the latest Salsa Minutes as they become available.

If you are interested in being in a Salsa Minute or wish to shoot and contribute one, check out the Contribution Guidelines. Also check out the Salsa Minutes FAQ.

Enjoy!!

Comments and feedback welcome.

Keep up the frenzy
