**Open level JACK & JILL and MASTERS JACK & JILL!** on Sunday afternoon, NOVEMBER 23, 2007!

12pm OPEN JACK & JILL
All levels can compete in this fun afternoon of salsa! It is a no holds barred JACK & JILL where you pick your partner on the spot and compete!

4pm Masters JACK & JILL
Here come the professionals! Vote for you favorite Instructor or performer as they show off their stuff leading or following someone new! Ever seen the stars compete? They will this afternoon!

Jack & Jill Categories:
OPEN LEVEL JACK & JILL
Takes place 12 pm at the Fisherman's Wharf Room of the SF BAY AREA SALSA CONGRESS.
Open to all levels. Sure to be a lot of fun, anyone can sign up throughout the weekend for the $600 cash prize and of course, huge bragging rights!

MASTERS LEVEL JACK & JILL
Takes place 4pm at the Fisherman's Wharf Room of the SF BAY AREA SALSA CONGRESS.
This is by invitation only. Check out the incredible list below.

RULES:
1. All couples compete on the Dance floor
2. Maximum 30 couples competing.
3. Leaders will select their partner out of a hat and dance with whoever they draw.
3. ROUND 1
* by lotto, all couples will dance in 4 heats:
* 7-8 couples per heat, 2 songs per heat ( 1 moderate tempo salsa, one fast salsa)
* songs danced will play for 1.5 minutes
* you will be judged as a couple, no switching partners until after 1st elimination
4. ROUND 2
* half the couples will be eliminated.
* leaders that made it into ROUND 2 will by lotto,
select a new partner from the followers that made it into ROUND 2
* they will dance to 2 songs ( 1 moderate tempo salsa, one fast salsa)
* songs danced will play for 1.5 minutes
* you will again, be judged as a couple
5. This will repeat until we are down to 6 couples. Each finalist couple will dance by themselves. Each leader will select his partner right before their solo turn on the dance floor and will get to choose their desired tempo of dance: slow or fast) and dance 1.5 minutes
6. Winners will be announced after all 6 couples have danced.
